Another cold wave to affect northern region

The northern region of Vietnam is set to face another cold spell, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

The National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said that from this morning, January 27, northeastern localities would have rain. The whole northern region would be affected by the cold weather from tomorrow with the lowest temperature of five degrees centigrade in high mountainous areas.

 

Another cold wave to affect northern region


Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue would witness the lowest temperature of 15-18 degrees centigrade.

The lowest temperature of 13-15 degrees centigrade has been forecasted for Hanoi from Thursday.

The north has recently experienced extremely cold fronts with the temperature falling to minus one degree centigrade in many mountainous areas, bringing snow to Sapa, Mau Son and some others.
