Two more people in Ha Nam test positive for Covid-19

Two more people in the northern province of Ha Nam have tested positive for Covid-19 after coming into close contact with a local man who was confirmed positive earlier on Thursday.

The information was given by Nguyen Trong Khai, director of the provincial Department of Health on Friday morning.


Quan Nhan Village is being locked down for Covid-19 prevention

The two people, who are both from Ly Nhan District, had close contact with a 28-year-old man, Patient 2899, in Dao Ly Commune’s Quan Nhan Village.

One of them is Chairman of Dao Ly Commune and the other is a high-school student.

Meanwhile, another case who is a doctor from Ly Nhan District’s Health Centre also has the suspected symbols of Covid-19. He is still waiting for the testing result.

The man in Dao Ly Commune was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on Thursday. He has transmitted the virus to two people in Hung Yen Province and another in Hanoi’s Dong Anh District.

Quan Nhan Village has been locked down from 5 pm on Thursday. The quarantine will last for 28 days.
