Two more die following Covid-19 vaccinations
A schoolboy in Binh Phuoc Province and a woman in Dak Lak Province have died after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination.

The HCM City Children's Hospital 2 confirmed on November 30 that a 12-year-old boy died the same day at the hospital after showing symptoms of Covid-19 vaccination reactions.
According to the hospital, the boy was brought to the hospital from Binh Phuoc Province on the evening of November 29. His family said that he was given the first dose of the Pfizer Comirnaty Covid-19 Vaccine at 2 pm on November 29. He started to show signs of an adverse Covid vaccine reaction that evening and was found collapsed in the bathroom. He was then brought to the Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital and was then transferred to the HCM City Children's Hospital 2 shortly after.
The boy was given intensive treatment but he died on the morning of November 30. The hospital informed local authorities of the case for further investigation into his death.
Dak Lak Provincial Centre for Disease Control (CDC) has also reported that a local woman died after receiving the second dose of the Sinopharm's Vero Cell Vaccine.
According to the report, the 41-year-old woman was given the second dose of the Sinopharm's Vero Cell Vaccine at 3 pm on November 29. She then returned to work in normal health. Her family said that they found her unconscious at 1 am on November 30 and rushed her to hospital. The hospital said that she died before arriving at the hospital.
Dak Lak CDC said they had investigated the vaccine storage and vaccination process at Tan Lap Ward Healthcare Centre where she was vaccinated and found no violations. The woman was among 1,765 people who were given the Vero Cell Vaccine at the centre on November 29. All other people including 13 receiving the first dose and 1,752 receiving the second dose showed no reactions.
Vietnam has recently reported some fatalities following Covid-19 vaccination.
Four workers had also died two and three days after receiving their second dose of the Vero Cell Vaccine in the northern province of Thanh Hoa on November 23. The Ministry of Health then concluded that these people died from anaphylaxis after Covid-19 inoculation.
On November 28, a 14-year-old girl in Hanoi and a 16-year-old boy in the northern Bac Giang Province also died after receiving their first dose of the Pfizer Vaccine. The cause of their deaths has been identified as anaphylactic shock.
Vietnam on November 29 administered more than 2.23 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines. The country has so far conducted over 122.08 million Covid-19 vaccine shots, with over 50.94 million people having received two doses.
