Northern region faces strong heatwave
Vietnam’s northern region has been forecasted to experience an intense heatwave, starting today, April 17.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the hot weather front in many northern localities will end on April 20.
Friday would be the hottest day of the heatwave in the northern region with temperature highs of around 40 degrees centigrade.
On Friday, Hanoi’s temperature would reach 44 - 45 degrees centigrade.
Meanwhile, the central and Central Highlands will also witness hot weather in the coming days.
