Quang Nam announces tourism campaign
Authorities of the central province of Quang Nam have announced plans to launch a tourism stimulus programme.
The Quang Nam-Green Tourism Destination campaign is scheduled to start from May to the end of November.
Around 100 local tourism firms will offer 20 to 50 percent discounts on tours.
The campaign's eco-tourism products and tours will highlight the natural beauty of Quang Nam’s mountains, forests, islands, and coastlines, alongside the province's well-established tourist sightseeing spots such as Hoi An Town, the My Son Sanctuary, Cham Island, the Tra Que Vegetable Village and the Bay Mau Coconut Forest.
In addition to domestic tourists, the programme will target visitors from key international markets such as South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, the US and Europe.
Quang Nam has set a goal to serve 7.60 million tourists this year. The figure reached 7.40 million last year, including 3.80 million foreign visitors.
