The owner of a Bun cha restaurant in Hanoi has renovated an old bus and turned it into a restaurant.

After being banned from serving customers on the pavements recently, owner of a Bun cha (noodle with grilled pork) on Su Van Hanh Street in Hoan Kiem District has decided to expand his small restaurant to an old 29-seated bus which is placed nearby.

According to the restaurant owner, parking is allowed on this street so he is not violating the law to operate his Bun cha bus.

This new avenue can serve up to 15 customers.

The new avenue has attracted curious customers but local people are complaining that it is affecting traffic here as staff have to cross the road often to serve customers.

Talking with Dan Tri/DTiNews about the mobile restaurant, head of the Police Department of Phan Chu Trinh Ward in Hoan Kiem District said that they would soon check the restaurant and deal with any potential violations
