Danang to pilot night services to boost tourism
The central city of Danang has issued a plan on the pilot operation of a night activity programme in order to develop local tourism activities after Covid-19.
The programme named Danang By Night is expected to be launched on the coming Reunification Day (April 30) and will last until the end of 2023.
The city will promote the programme widely to the public, particularly travel firms, in the coming time. It will include different events such as light performances along the Han River and the bridges of Thuan Phuoc, Song Han, Dragon, Tran Thi Ly and Nguyen Van Troi as well as the city’s administrative building.
Others are related to night activities at An Thuong Tourism Street, street art shows at local tourist sites.
Many attractive events will also be held along My An Beach along with Danang food promotion on Nguyen Van Thoai, Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap and Truong Sa streets.
Local supermarkets, shopping malls and eateries will be also encouraged to launch happy hours to offer discounts and gifts for customers, especially after 10 pm.
The city will also create favourable conditions for business establishments to operate their night services such as karaoke parlours, bars, pubs and restaurants.
The programme is among many solutions of tourism stimulation following the pandemic.
