Da Lat proposes night market and pedestrian street construction
Authorities of Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong have proposed to develop a night market and pedestrianise streets.
These facilities are part of a VND1.6 trillion (USD71.74 million) project to build a 120,000-square metre residential area in wards 8 and 9.

Da Lat Night Market
Of the total area, 14,000 square metres will be used for low-cost houses and apartments, a nursery school, and a park.
The new Lu Gia pedestrian street would be 1.5 kilometres, running from the junction of Dinh Tien Hoang and Tran Quoc Toan Street to Da Lat Flower Garden. Meanwhile, the new night market would be built at Anh Sang Park.
The current Da Lat Night Market and pedestrian streets are open on weekends and holidays. However, they are overloaded due to the rising number of tourists.
