New Military History Museum to open in Hanoi
A new Military History Museum is set to open soon in Hanoi's Nam Tu Liem District.
Lying opposite the Vinhomes Smart City, the VND2.50 trillion project covers 74.30 hectares.
The new museum is built with five floors.
Utilising modern technologies, the museum is expected to bring new experiences for visitors who can better interact with the exhibits.
Many old wartime aircraft from the old museum have been moved for the coming exhibitions.
According to the museum director, Le Vu Huy, seven of the Vietnam Military's collections will be put on display at the new museum.
In the first stage, exhibits dating back from the period of the Hung Kings to the mid-20th century will be displayed.
