Horse race on Ta Leng Mountain
Thousands of people have gathered at the Mong ethnic minority cultural festival on top of Ta Leng Mountain, Tam Duong district in northern Lai Chau province.
Hundreds of local actors and actresses joined the event for the first time on March 17-18 to promote cultural values of Mong ethnic minority people by performing folk songs and dances to the accompaniment of khen music.
Meanwhile spectators enjoyed traditional games and sports, such as pushing sticks, tug of war, shooting with a stone bow and arrow, and horse race.
