Ho Dynasty Citadel in Thanh Hoa Province

Tourists can visit the Ho Dynasty Citadel in Thanh Hoa Province for free from January 27-29.

Many other activities will be held during the Tet holiday including music and art shows by the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Art Club, Tuong (Vietnamese opera) performances by a club based in Beo Village and a Calligraphy Festival.

Meanwhile, Lam Kinh historical site will open for free from January 28 - February 6. Greater efforts will be made to ensure security and order and environmental sanitation. Lam Kinh is an imperial temple of the Le Dynasty and also the location of the Tay Son uprising. Many royal tombs of Le Dynasty are also located there. It is recognised as Special National Relic in 2013.

The Po Nagar Cham Towers, or Thap Ba, in Nha Trang City also open for free during Tet Holiday, from January 27 until February 3. Visitors can buy Cham and Lu Cam ceramics and watch traditional song and dance shows at the complex.

The Po Nagar Towers were built from the 8th to 13th centuries and are the largest Cham complex in the central region. Each year, thousands of people visit the site to attend the worshiping festival from Lunar March 20-23.
