May Waterfall, which is located in Thach Lam Commune, Thach Thanh District, is some 90 kilometres from Thanh Hoa City.
The nine-step waterfall gives visitors a chance to enjoy the wild natural scenery and cultural traditions of local residents who are from Muong ethnic minority group.
Under local authorities' instruction, the waterfall tourism services have to ensure public order, environmental protection and safety.
