Saigon River Park gets facelift ahead of Tet
Saigon River Park has been upgraded, giving it a new face for the Lunar New Year.
Facilities such as the Love Bridge, sunflower garden and water fountains are the highlights that attract people to the park.
Work is being hastened on some small facilities such as flower decorations and grass to welcome Tet.
Work on the square area has been finished.
Thu Thiem Wharf situated next to the park has been slated to be put into use soon.
Around 20,000 sunflowers have been planted at the park.
A 600-metre-long pathway along the park has been paved. Meanwhile, the surroundings are decorated with numerous trees, various types of flowers and lush grass carpets.
The water fountain has a sunflower shape.
Many families took photos at the park.
This is the largest park in the city with 13 facilities, covering 20 hectares.
