Finland to help Vietnam compile new programs, textbooks

Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan proposed Finland assist Vietnam in compiling new programs and textbooks at the Vietnam-Finland Education Forum on March 7 in Hanoi.


The Vietnamese Minister said he hopes to receive more technical assistance from Finland in training English and improving the capacity of using English for young labor force.

He also suggested Finish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Lenita Toivakka advocate and boost the signing of new cooperative document between the two ministries.  

Mr. Luan affirmed that the Ministry of Education and Training always encourages student exchanges and welcomes Finish students to study at universities and institutes in Viet Nam.

The Finish Minister revealed that the two sides will make discussions to propose detailed and specific measures to enhance cooperative programs.

At the forum, Finish universities and companies shared experience in education with Vietnamese partners.
