Editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan expressed his thanks to the embassy and the Vietnamese in Austria, saying that the newspaper will try to work as a bridge between readers and disadvantaged people in Vietnam.

Through the Compassionate Hearts Charity Fund set up in 2004, Dantri/DTiNews has helped many poor and disadvantaged people. After articles about these people are published on the newspaper, readers donate their money through the fund and Dantri/DTiNews will send the money to them.
