Poor father calls for help to save cerebral palsy son
A poor man in the central province of Ha Tinh, whose three children died already, is calling for the community help to save a son with cerebral palsy.
Tran Hau Thao in Thach Ha District is now staying at the National Hospital of Burns to take care of his son Tran Hau Phu who is suffering from cerebral palsy. Because of having to stay in bed for a long time, Phu has faced Caseous necrosis in some parts of his body.
Thao told about the death of the three first children of him. Two died when they were just born, while the third named Tran Hau Bao died due to an accident caused by himself. It was him who drove the truck but did not know that Bao was playing near the vehicle. As a result, while reversing, the truck hit the boy, killing him.
After that, he had additional three children. One of them is studying in Hanoi. His youngest child now can’t sit in spite of being at the age of two. He displays the same symptoms of his cerebral palsy older brother.
Doctor Do Ngoc Lan who gives the treatment to Phu said that the boy’s condition is very serious due to Caseous necrosis, so he needs surgery, Meanwhile, his family is so poor to cover the treatment.
