On January 7-8, Grobest representatives presented 100 scholarships for pupils worth VND600,000 (USD27.2) each in the southern province of Dong Thap. The pupils are from Nhi My 1 and 2 primary schools in Cao Lanh District and Tram Chim 1 Primary School in Tam Nong District.

On January 8-9, Grobest provided 100 scholarships worth a total VND60 million (USD2,727) for poor pupils in Go Cong Dong District, Tan Phu Dong District and Go Cong Town in Tien Giang.z

Nguyen Thi Dieu Tien, a teacher from Binh Dong Primary School in Go Cong Town, said the scholarships have been given to poor pupils with good academic results.

The company also granted 100 other scholarships to poor pupils worth VND600,000 each in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong’s Dam Rong District on January 8.

Last year, Grobest Industrial Vietnam Company signed an agreement with the Vietnam Study Promotion Association, the management agency of Dantri/DTiNews, to donate at least VND3bn (USD133,000) a year to support students with disadvantaged backgrounds between 2016 and 2021.
