Canadian Navy officers have visited children affected by Agent Orange in the central city of Danang during a tour to the city.
HMCS Calgary ship and the Royal Canadian Navy MV Asterix commercial container ship arrived at Tien Sa Port of Danang on September 26, starting a five-day trip to Vietnam.
This morning, September 27, the officials visited and provided presents for children with disabilities, Agent Orange/dioxin victims and poor children as well as students of Phan Chau Trinh School.
Commanding Officer of the HMCS Calgary Blair Saltel also presented the ship badge for the centre
The presents include toys and school things
The officers paint pictures with the children
The officers also play football with the children
They also re-painted the centre walls and collected rubbish
