Wife suffers chronic heart illness
A man in Nam Dinh Province is calling for help to treat his wife who is being tortured by heart disease.
"This is the complications from mitral valve disease. She was in critical condition so we had to operate her immediately. Her treatment will be long and costly but she doesn't have health insurance," said Dr Le Tien Dung.
"Our child is only two years old. I sell toothpicks and chopsticks near Quat Lam Beach. My wife takes care of the chickens and the family. I'm really scared, the hospital fees could reach hundreds of millions of VND," Hoai said.
He could only stay with Hoa for a few days before returning home to take care of their daughter who has been crying with a fever. He is also trying to borrow money to pay for the treatment.
"Please don't take my wife," he said.
