DTiNews readers help ailing father taking care of three children
Dantri/DTiNews readers have provided VND67.8 million (USD2,913) for a poor ailing man in the southern central province of Phu Yen who is taking care of three children.
Nguyen Van Dat in Hoa My Dong Commune, Tay Hoa District is suffering from tuberculosis. His wife left home without saying a word, so, he has to take care of three small children.
The donation granted to the family
The family now live in a small house which is in bad condition, but he can’t afford to repair it.
After an article about the family’s difiuclties was published on Dantri, many readers offered assistance.
“I’m very happy to receive the donation through Dantri/DTiNews. Now I can afford my treatment as well as support my children in their studies,” Dat said, expressing his deep thanks.
Nguyen Ngoc Anh, deputy head of Hoa My Dong Commune vice chairwoman, thanked Dantri/DTiNews for helping Dat’s family.
