Young man in desperate need of help for hospital treatment
A man in Ha Nam Province is in desperate need of financial support to treat serious injuries caused by a work accident.
Tran Thi Trang from the hospital's social work department said, "The patient was transferred from Hung Yen Hospital in critical condition. We thought that we might not be able to save him. We haven't seen his family at all while he is in hospital."
Quan's parents are over 80 years old with bad health and his two brothers have mental illnesses. Quang also doesn't have health insurance to reduce the treatment cost. However, due to the severity of his condition, the hospital decided to start the operation as soon as possible.
Nguyen Chi Cuong, head of Tuong Thuy 3 Village, said, "Quan had to drop out of school and find work to support his family since he was still young. Last year, he asked us to remove him from the poor household lists so that he would have the motivation to work hard and find someone to marry. We are also calling for donations to help him but it's not enough."
