Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion supports Hai Duong children
The Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion (VFLP) and Dantri transferred VND300m to support disadvantaged children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Hai Duong Province on March 25.
Nguyen Huu Doan, chairman of Hai Duong Fund for Learning Promotion said, "I want to thank the Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion and Dantri Newspaper for always paying attention and helping our children. The money will be divided into 600 gifts. However, due to the large number of children, we'll divide the gifts suitably among 12 districts and towns based on the impacts of the pandemic on each area. Any help during this difficult time is really meaningful to us."
Doan estimated that they will transfer the gifts to 71 children in the hardest-hit area and 35 children in the least affected area. He went on to say that the money would be used wisely and transparently. Hai Duong has been badly affected by the recent Covid-19 outbreak.
"We want to spread the gifts out across the province to encourage the students to study more and build a better future for themselves," he said.
