Firm donates to Covid-19 frontline workers
The Golden Top Group and Nguyen Gia Thao Charity Fund have sent VND500m (USD21,700) to Dantri's charity programme to support Covid-19 frontline workers.
Can expressed gratitude to the frontline workers who are still working tirelessly and said that all employees at Golden Top Group had been following preventive regulations to help curb the outbreak. In 2020, the group also donated VND220m (USD9.500) to the frontline workers.
Pham Tuan Anh, editor-in-chief of Dantri, thanked the Golden Top Group as well as other firms and individuals who have contributed to the Million Hearts-One Will Programme.
The Golden Top Group has collaborated with Dantri on various charity programmes in the past. In 2016, Chairwoman Nguyen Kim Thuy donated VND300m (USD13,000) to help build a classroom in Sy Village, Quang Binh Province.
Since 2005, the group has helped build 25 charity houses for disadvantaged workers, policy beneficiaries, heroic mothers and victims of Agent Orange.
From April 30 until now, Dantri has received VND345,857,382 (USD15,000) from readers to the Million Hearts-One Will Programme.
