USD55,000 donated to help daughter of poor Long An man
Dantri/DTiNews readers have donated VND1.3 billion (USD55,084) for a poor man in the southern province of Long An who is taking care of his ailing child.

In September last year, Thong’s wife left home without saying a word. His daughter Nhi suffered from a sudden seizure during Lunar New Year. Doctors at a local hospital in Hanoi said that she suffers from cerebral palsy. Thong immediately took her daughter to the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
The girl’s condition quickly worsened, causing her respiratory failure. She was given endotracheal intubation. After the three-week treatment, her health improved and discharged from hospital.
Thong used VND200 million from donations to support poor patients at the HCM City Hospital for Tropical Diseases. He will also build a small house.
The man expressed his deep thanks for the support.
