The clothes belong to Ellie Vu, Ellie Vu Boutique and Ellie Vu Haute Couture collections of Ellie and Co. Foundation. The ao dais in the collections will feature images of mythical characters such as Saint Giong or Mai An Tiem.

The Ellie Vu Boutique brand will showcase their newest designs for the winter while Ellie Vu Haute Couture goes with hand-made clothes with delicate details. The brand says the clothes are made to be comfortable and safe for the children's skin.

The Let Me Be the One charity programme will also be launched along with the auction of the clothes from the haute couture collection. One of the items is silk scarves made by artists at Nha Xa Village and designed by autistic children at Hy Vong (Hope) Centre and students at Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

The money will be used to organise health check-ups for the children, detect the earliest signs of autism and upgrade Hy Vong Centre. A workshop was also held for the children to draw and decorate the common room at the centre. Their pictures will be displayed at a small exhibition at the Gala Fashion Show.

Designer Anh Trieu said she wanted to do something to call attention to autism among children.

"It is reported that 200,000 children in Vietnam are autistic. The message of Let Me Be the One is to love the children as they are and respect their differences. I hope that Ellie and Co. Foundation will be able to connect with more children across Vietnam after Hy Vong Centre," she said.
