Park Hang Seo will leave Vietnam for his home in South Korea to enjoy the Lunar New Year
The Tet Holiday will be a time for Park to spend time with his relatives, particularly his 90-year-old mother.
“We’ve learned experiences from the 2020 AFC U23 Championships to improving the national football team,” Park said.
After returning to Vietnam, he will focus on arranging the national team to fight at World Cup qualifier and the ASEAN Football Federation Cup 2020.
He will attend matches of national football tournaments for the player selection. The national squad is scheduled to meet in late March for the clash against Malaysia.
According to the Vietnamese Football Federation, coaches are not offered Tet bonuses, but the agency usually hold a meeting on the first days of the new year to give them lucky money.
