R16 International Hiphop Competition held in Vietnam
The qualifying round of the R16 International Hiphop Competition opened at Hanoi Circus, 25 Thai Thinh Street, on May 7.
The competition attracted the best 30 Bboy dancing teams from three regions and 130 outstanding individuals in the Poping and Locking events.
The final round will take place on May 8, when the best dancer in each event will be chosen to represent Vietnam in the regional and international competitions in Malaysia and the Republic of Korea in June and July.
Johnjay Chon, a representative of the organising board, said the R16 competition will bring some amazing performances to Vietnamese audiences as it has done in many other countries over the past five years.
