Diva Thanh Lam and Vietnam Idol 2010 Uyen Linh will share the stage during a music show in Hanoi this weekend.

Entitled Cam Tay Mua He (Hold the Hands of Summer), the show is a celebration for the diva\'s 42nd birthday tomorrow, said composer Quoc Trung, show director and Lam\'s ex-husband.

They consider the show as a musical "reunification" after their break-up in 1991.

During the show Lam will perform songs from her album May Trang Bay Ve (White Clouds Are Flying Back), which was the duos last musical project 10 years ago. The album is considered by many as their most successful musical collaboration. Songs for the performance include Do Tinh (Love Quiz), Bay Vao Ngay Xanh (Fly in to Blue Day), Ho Tren Nui (Lake on Mountain) and Mot Thoang Tay Ho (A Glimpse of West Lake).

"I chose songs that I seldom, if ever, perform on stage. During the show, I think audiences will be able to enjoy a different ‘spirit\' of the songs," Lam said.

Idol Linh will present Giac Mo Toi (My Dream), the latest song by composer Trung which was written especially for Linh, as well as pieces by female songwriter Luu Thien Huong.

She will also perform songs that helped her win the Idol title, including Chi La Giac Mo (It Is Just A Dream), Sao Khong Ve Voi Em (Why You Don\'t Come Back to Me) and Take Me to the River.

"While Lam brings an emotional storm to her songs, Linh\'s bright vocals are like the summer sun. Their sophisticated musical emotions will offer audiences a memorable show," said Trung.

Ha Linh, one of the finalists in the Morning Star – Rendezvous 2008 singing contest, will make an appearance as a special guest in the Hold the Hands of Summer show which will start at 8pm tonight and tomorrow night at the Ha Noi Opera House.
