Vietnamese models on New York catwalk

For the first time Vietnamese models performed in the New York Fashion Week. Hoang Thuy and Tuyet Lan impressed the audience by their confidence.


The winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012 Hoang Thuy and the runner-up of Vietnam’s
Next Top Model 2011 Tuyet Lan joined the New York Fashion Week from February 13.

After performing in the show by designer Korto Momolu on February 13, the two models
appeared again in the Emerge show, which introduced the latest Fall Winter collections by
young designers like Terry Stevens, Michael Alan Stain, Jahi Fitzerrald, Barbara Bate, Elie Kuame…  (Tuyet Lan)

This event attracted famous fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberge and leading
fashion experts in New York


In the show, Andre Leon Talley, Vogue’s editor (left), was honored. Talley is also the
 key juryman of America’s Next Top Model

A representative of California Studios, which brought two Vietnamese models to New York,
said that this is the first favorable step to develop the Vietnamese fashion industry.
This firm will cooperate with BeU Model, which manages models of the Vietnam’s Next Top Model,
 to train Vietnamese models under international standards and recommend them to world large fashion markets
