Classical Pianist Adam Gyorgy is coming to HCM City

The Vietnam National Academy of Music has unveiled that it will present Hungarian pianist Adam Gyorgy, one of the world’s finest classical musicians, in concert on May 6 in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

From child prodigy to Liszt ambassador and philanthropist, pianist Adam Gyorgy’s virtuosity and sensitive interpretations have won him critical acclaim and a growing enthusiastic fan base worldwide.

Adam regularly performs at many of the globe’s most prestigious concert halls such as the Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore where he has been lauded for his virtuosity, improvisational skill and striking renditions of well-known musical masterpieces.

At 12 years old, he was accepted at the prestigious Bela Bartok Conservatory in Budapest. At 18, he won the Pianist 2000 Award in Hungary and entered the Franz Liszt Academy of Music.

Adam then went on to win awards in 2002, 2003, and 2004. In 2005, he was invited to join the honorable Steinway Artist community. In 2010, he created the Adam Gyorgy Foundation in New York City whose mission is to play an instrumental role in how society trains its young musicians.
