Kong Skull Island trailer shows off Vietnam's landscape

Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay and Quang Binh Province are showcased in the trailer for the Hollywood blockbuster Kong: Skull Island.

In the first section of the trailer depicts scenery of Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh Valley in sunlight. The images of a group of white heron fly across the sky in Ninh Binh interlace with the images of Australian mountains make a breath-taking scene.

The first village that is destroyed by the King Kong was shot in Ninh Binh and Quang Binh provinces.

In the movie, Brie Larson plays a photographer while Tom Hiddleston plays a British SAS army expert. They arrive on the island for their own missions and discover the giant beast. The trailer only shows part of the King Kong's head, the full image of the 100 feet tall creature hasn't been disclosed.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unveiled the trailer at the San Diego Comic Con. The cast is led by Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell along with Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Eugene Cordero and Tian Jing.

The USD190m dollar film, directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, was shot in Australia, Hawaii and Vietnam. Principal photography began on October 19, 2015 and ended in March. It will be released on March 10, 2017.
