New football club debuts in HCM City

Saigon FC, a new football club, made its debut in Ho Chi Minh City on December 12.

In his opening speech, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the session will review the results of the 2nd meeting and prepare agenda for the 3rd meeting.

The 13th NA will consider a plan to allocate nearly VND2,100 billion for key projects and VND820 billion for tourism infrastructure in some provinces.

Participants will give opinions on six draft laws, including the law on preventing and controlling the harmful effects of tobacco, the law on money laundering prevention, the law on deposit insurance, the labour code (revised), the law on prices and the law on water resources (revised).

The NA Standing Committee will monitor the operation of the people’s councils and people’s committees, and the building and development of economic zones and border economic zones.

In addition, it will approve a working agenda for NA agencies to promote external relations and international cooperation progammes in 2012.
