Manchester City academy offers training for Vietnamese students
Three Vietnamese who completed Manchester City FC's young leader training programme will continue to be trained at City Football Academy in the UK with 30 other people from all over the world.
The first course was completed earlier this year.
About 12 students graduated the second course and given certificates. The three most outstanding students will be chosen to attend the training course in the UK. Many students have expressed the desire to meet coach Pep Guardiola and the City players in person.
A Manchester City representative and director of City Football Group Tom Pitchon said they wanted to use football as a tool to improve society. With 100 years of expertise in community development, the programme will help train talented and enthusiastic young leaders for Vietnam.
