700 to participate in Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Cup 2020
Over 700 Vietnamese athletes will participate in the Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Cup 2020 which will be held in Thua Thien-Hue Province from October 12 to 20.
The Korean Culture Centre in Vietnam is the main sponsor of the tournament. 700 athletes from 45 clubs in Vietnam will participate in the 12-14, 15-17 and over 17 age categories.

Suk Jin Young, director of the Korean Culture Centre in Vietnam, said sports can bring people closer and he hoped the Vietnamese public would get to know more about Taekwondo. Due to Covid-19, there are many challenges but the General Department of Gymnastics and Sports, Vietnam Taekwondo Federation and the South Korean Embassy in Vietnam would work hard to organise the tournament.
