A “seeking second Vietnamese to fly into space” programme was launched in Hanoi on April 15 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Unilever Vietnam and Axe Brand.
The programme sponsored by Unilever Group aims to seek 108 young representatives from 63 countries to participate in a training course for astronauts at Axe Apollo Space Academy (AASA) in the US.

In Vietnam, candidates can register from April 15 to June 30 in Hanoi, Danang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho or on www.axeapollo.com.

One hundred Vietnamese candidates with the highest number of votes will undergo health and English tests and 15 of them will take part in reality shows. The most outstanding will represent Vietnam to join 107 others selected for training at  AASA.

Twenty-two of them, including one from Vietnam, will fly into space in January 2014.
