Six Vietnamese rock bands including 18+, Dong Do, Bui Gio, Hemelians, Hac San, Parasite will take part in the final round of Tiger Translate - Battle of the Bands event.

Magician Erix Logan to perform in Vietnam

Sandrine Llouquet’s fourth solo exhibition at the gallery. The exhibition is divided into two parts: Black and White in reference to the first two of the four major stages of the Magnum Opus in alchemy.

Born in 1975 in Montpellier, France, Sandrine Llouquet has lived in Vietnam since 2005. She graduated from École Pilote Internationale d’Art et de Recherche -Villa Arson in 1999.

A photo exhibition organized on the occasion of the Vietnamese Journalism Day by a group of journalists and photographers in Hanoi to raise funds for the poor pediatric patients at National Hospital of Paediatrics. The exhibition will show more than 70 photos by 6 photographers including Nguyen Quang Tuan, Chu Thu Hao,  Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Nguyen Hong Vinh, Nguyen Manh Ha and Dam Duc Vu.

The photos displayed are diverse in genre, ranging from landscape, portrait, still-life to real life.

FESTIVALS

HCMC- Bourbon Street jazz

June 1, 7 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, D4

A music and food festival organised for the first time in Vietnam by Kids First Enterprise promises to bring the sound and taste of Bourbon Street, New Orleans to HCM City. 

It will raise funds for the “Gift of Mobility” to help children in need as well as workers at the Kids First Enterprise factory in Dong Ha, Quang Tri Province where wheelchairs are manufactured.

The event will also feature talented jazz performers Shun Sakai, Andy J Forest from New Orleans and a selection of local-based bands including the Wanderlusters, Flightwave, Peche a la Mouche, On Fire and more. Dancenter will provide a jazz dancing show while Saigonbelly dance’s artists will present their skills.

Admission is VND500,000 per person, including a VND200,000 voucher for food and drink.
