AboutREC VietNam:

REC Viet Nam grows from REC Room – A music management and event production team based in Hanoi. REC ROOM was formed in 2014 as a DIY audio recording studio, but has since developed into a community-driven music production team, with particular focus on; live music events, contemporary musical subcultures, management, tour production, and audio/video production for artists based in Vietnam.

Dak Lak- National dance and music festival

Featuring 1,000 artists from 22 professional art troupes across the country

The festival is organised by the Performing Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with the Vietnam Musicians Association, the Vietnam Dance Artists Association and other organisations.

Thua Thien-Hue- Hot air balloon festival

An event in the Hue Festival2022, featuring ten hot-air balloons that can carry 2-3 passengers each, and ten others for decorative purposes only.


Hanoi-First-ever egg dishes festival


 

June 26,Van Ho Exhibition Centre

A special culinary festival featuring France’s Michelin Star Chef Hervé Rodriguez, chef Hoang Tung who owns T.U.N.G Dining, one of Asia's 100 best restaurants 2021, winner of Top Chef Vietnam 2014 Vo Hoang Nhan, President at the World Association of Master Chefs Vietnam Le Xuan Tam, and Executive Chef of Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen who will join cooking egg dishes during the event.

These five master chefs will judge a competition on egg dishes with the participation of 10 chefs from across the country.

There will be booths to introduce food suppliers, and kitchen tools to visitors.

Over the past two decades, Lim Khim Katy has been earnestly painting with a passion and dedication that is perhaps only fully appreciated by a few who know her very well. The entire oeuvre of works of Katy since 2002 represent, however, a manifestly impressive and profound achievement possible only for a uniquely talented and disciplined artist. Living and working in Saigon for the course of her artistic career to date, Katy has created an ever evolving and expanding visual record of contemporary life in Vietnam’s southern metropolis.

Nguyen Art Foundation (NAF) proudly invites you to the opening of ‘Illuminated Curiosities’, a group exhibition with 26 artists featuring 46 artworks from within and outside NAF’s Collection. Curated by art researcher Ace Le, with the curatorial assistance from Duong Manh Hung and Tam Nguyen, the exhibition will take place simultaneously across the campuses of EMASI Nam Long and EMASI Van Phuc, over the course of six months from May to December of 2022. ‘Illuminated Curiosities’ is a collaborative effort between NAF and Lan Tinh Foundation.

Hanoi- Exhibition spotlights tigers in Vietnam’s ancient art

Vietnam National Museum of History,

Featuring more than 30 exhibits, documents and images featuring tigers throughout over 2,000 years of the country's art history, showing that the image of tigers was widely portrayed in Vietnam’s ancient pottery, carving and folk paintings, among others.
