Vietjet welcomes first flight connecting Hanoi with Taiwan’s Taichung

The budget carrier, Vietjet, welcomed the first passengers on the Hanoi – Taichung (Taiwan, China) flight at Noi Bai International Airport on June 22.

On the flight, passengers were presented with gifts from Vietjet and were warmly welcomed at Taichung International airport, the third largest and most beautiful city of Taiwan, China.

The new route connects the two famous cities of culture and tourism, while meeting the traveling demands of tourists and local people and contributing to promoting trade and integration in the region.

A return flight on the Hanoi - Taichung route will be in operation every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will take around 2 hours 30 minutes per leg. The flight departs from Hanoi at 13:00 and arrives in Taichung at 16:30 (local time). The return flight takes off at 17:30 (local time) in Taichung and lands in Hanoi at 19:20.

To welcome the summer and the new route, Vietjet is offering its biggest promotional series of the year “Free up your summer with Vietjet!”, with millions of super-promotional tickets priced from only VND0 during the golden hours from 12:00 to 14:00 (GMT+7) from now until 31 July 2018.

The promotional tickets are available in all sales channels during the golden hours from 12:00 to 14:00 (GMT+7) everyday on www.vietjetair.com (also compatible with smartphones at https://m.vietjetair.com) or www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam.

With seven routes in operation, including Ho Chi Minh City – Taipei; Hanoi – Taipei; Ho Chi Minh City – Kaohsiung; Hanoi – Kaohsiung; Ho Chi Minh City – Tainan; Ho Chi Minh City – Taichung and now Hanoi – Taichung, Vietjet is the airline that flys to the most Taiwanese destinations from Vietnam.
