State President receives UAE guest

Vietnamese State President Nguyen Minh Triet on November 24 received the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al-Mansouri who is on a working visit to Vietnam for the first meeting of the Inter-governmental Committee for bilateral cooperation.

Vietnam , said President Triet, hopes to cement and deepen the cooperation with the UAE and welcome Arab businesses to set footholds here.

According to Mr. Triet, Vietnam is capable of providing abundant human resources and offering a more favorable investment environment for foreign players, including Arab ones.

Having good experience of agricultural production, Vietnam wants to shake hands with the UAE in this field and others like infrastructure development, construction of seaports and airports, and energy, said Mr. Triet.

The host leader added that the two sides enjoy vast opportunities for closer linkages,.

The UAE wants to advance to a strategic cooperation with Vietnam because it recognizes long-tern profits here, stated Minster Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri.

The UAE Minister also stressed that the UAE wants to work with Vietnamese partners to expand the agriculture cooperation as the country is facing with difficulties in this field.

Minister Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri revealed that the UAE is willing to grant more scholarships for Vietnamese students.
