Vietnam records two more Covid-19 cases

Vietnam reported two more Covid-19 patients as of Wednesday morning, with both linked to the central city of Danang which is struggling with the pandemic outbreak.

According to the Ministry of Health, the figure has brought the country’s total Covid-19 cases to 672, including up to 224 related to Danang.

Patient 671 is a 33-year-old man from Quang Nam’s Duy Xuyen District who stayed at Danang Hospital’s Neurosurgery Ward for the treatment. He also had close contact with Patient 524.

Meanwhile, Patient 672 is a 37-year-old man from Quang Nam’s Dai Loc District who is the relative of a patient from Danang Hospital’s Nephrology Ward. He also had close contact with Patient 469.

By Wednesday morning, Vietnam had 672 Covid-19 cases in total, including 308 from abroad who were quarantined upon arrival. Among those, 224 cases are involved in Danang which have been detected since July 25.

Currently, 120,041 people are being quarantined.
