Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum 2013 opens

Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum 2013 opens in Ho Chi Minh City on April 17 in the presence of Bui Quang Vinh, Vietnam ’s Minister of Planning and Investment and Lim Hng Kiang, Singapore ’s Minister of Trade and Industry.
The three-day forum, co-hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), is part of activities to celebrate the 40 th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Singapore diplomatic ties.

Participants focus their discussions on four topics including real estate investment, healthcare services, tourism, and manufacturing and logistics.

The event offers a chance for both countries’ business communities to catch up with policies and opportunities for commercial and investment promotion in Vietnam and Singapore and exchange experience to improve business effectiveness.

Within the forum’s framework, a field trip to Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park I in southern Binh Duong province is expected to be held on the April 19.

The Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two countries is expected to be signed this year, opening up new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
