Vietnam Motor Show to be held in October
Vietnam Motor Show 2018 (VMS) will be held from October 24 to 28 with 15 brands such as Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, Jaguar, Lexus, Maserati and Toyota in HCM City.
VMS 2018 will be organised at a 30,000-square-metre are including both indoor and outdoor display areas. There will also be sections for test-runs and performance shows. VMS 2018 will also be the biggest show yet with 120 models on display.
Besides popular cars, special edition and concept cars will be introduced at the show. Visitors can find a wide range of cars from luxury to affordable models.
Firms will also offer special promotion and discount programmes during the shows.
From 2015 to 2017, both VAMA and VIVA had organised two separated shows. The VMS was organised by VAMA with car assembly companies while Vietnam International Motor Show was organised by VIVA for imported cars. VMS 2018 is the combination of two major car shows in Vietnam. It is considered a victory of the local automobile industry and the most comprehensive one to date.
The VMS 2017 had 150,000 visitors while the Vietnam International Motor Show received 60,000 visitors. It is hoped that the VMS 2018 will be able to attract many more visitors.
