THT Development and Bespin Global Vietnam use PI.EXCHANGE platform to develop Smart City Hub AI
Bespin Global, a cloud delivery platform company, has announced that its Vietnamese subsidiary ‘Bespin Global Vietnam’, signed an MOU with Daewoo E&C’s Vietnamese subsidiary ‘THT Development’ and 'PI.EXCHANGE', a deep-tech company based in Vietnam and Australia, to develop the AI capability for the 'THT-BESPIN Smart City Hub' for Starlake City, Hanoi, Vietnam.

The event saw the attendance of Mr. Kim Tae Ho - Country Director of Bespin Global Vietnam, Mr. Quan Pham - CEO and Founder of PI.EXCHANGE, and Mr. Kwun Myeong Jun - President of Daewoo E&C’s THT.
The MOU signing ceremony, which took place on November 29 at Starlake ICCC, Hanoi was a milestone in this strategic partnership. The partnership with PI.EXCHANGE is to provide the AI foundation for the Smart City Hub, a smart city operation & management platform, jointly developed and operated by Bespin Global Vietnam and THT Development via their product the AI & Analytics Engine (the Engine). The Engine is an end-to-end streamlined data preparation, machine learning development, and operation management platform. The platform is provisioned alongside PI.EXCHANGE’s AI advisory services.
Both the Engine and AI advisory will speed up the delivery of new and innovative AI applications for the Smart City projects. The combination of the Engine and Smart City Hub opens up the scope for projects that would reduce wastage, build efficiencies and improve the experience of Smart City operators, business users, and residents across multifunctional zones.
Speaking at the event, CEO and Founder of PI.EXCHANGE, Quan Pham, shared, “A robust AI and Machine Learning (AI/ML) capability is a critical puzzle piece for Smart Cities everywhere. The Engine enables this strategic capability by making AI/ML development and management efficient, simple, and scalable. The success of the collaboration with Bespin Global Vietnam and THT Development will lay the foundation for a global expansion of the AI-powered Smart City projects globally and all the benefits that will bring.”
President of Daewoo E&C’s THT Development, An Kuk Jin, said that AI/ML technology is essential for ‘THT-Bespin Global Smart City Hub’ to collect and process various data from THT Starlake New Town to support the decision-making process.
"Through this business agreement with PI.EXCHANGE, which has proven technology while collaborating with leading global companies, city managers can more efficiently manage the Starlake New Town by predicting water and electricity usage and providing a pleasant experience to city residents based on various data," he said. "It is expected to provide a better living environment and improved services. In addition, based on such high-quality data, we will lay the foundation for collaboration in various fields without restrictions with tech companies with high technology.”
