Vietnam's Next Top Model(VNTM) 2011 winner Hoang Thuy is preparing to join the Top Model of the World competition which will be held from March 1-10 in Germany.

To prepare for the contest, the winner of VNTM 2011 is receiving help top Vietnamese fashionistas, including designer Do Manh Cuong who was a judge during VNTM 2011. The outfits he is preparing for Hoang Thuy hail from his latest collection.

Hoang Thuy is also receiving help from designer Adrian Anh Tuan, who previously provided outfits for the last series of VNTM.

Both designers showed their high expectations for the young model. They hope with the experiences from VNTM and New York Fashion Week, Hoang Thuy will do well.

“I’m very lucky and proud to have been invited to some of the most famous fashion events. I’m confident in my ability and I hope that I’ll learn a lot from the new environment,” Hoang Thuy said.

The Top Model of the World event is a major international model search. The first competition was held in 1993 in Miami. It was also held in China and Greece.

This year the 10-day competition will feature 45 contestants. The final will take place on March 10 in Dortmund, Germany. The winner will be awarded USD10,000, a training contract with Stars Model Agency, a set of jewellery, cosmetics and a tour worth USD15,000.
