Vietnamese students shine at int’l math competition
All four Vietnamese students won three second and one third prizes at the 17th International Mathematical Competition (IMC) held in the Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad from July 25-26.
All the winners, Trieu Quang Phong, Trinh Phuong Thu, Hoang Duc Trung and Doan Nguyen Nhut, come from Hanoi University of Science under Vietnam National University.
With a total 176 points, Vietnamese team ranked 16th out of 94 universities from 44 participating countries.
