Rain forecast all week in the north

The northern region will have rains and rainstorm from now on to August 6 according to the Centre for Hydrometeorology Forecast Central.

  

Hanoi to rain all week

The northern region already has random moderate and heavy rains from July 31 with 30-60mm of average rainfall. The rainfall is highest in Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province with 81mm, Hoa Binh City with 104mm and Ba Vi District, Hanoi with 87mm.

Due to low pressure and tropical disturbance, more rain will fall on the north from August 2 to 6. Some locations will have random rains during the day and heavy and torrential rains at night including Hanoi.

The region will face the strong wind and the temperature is forecast to be from 24 to 32 degrees.

The total rainfall in Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang and Lang Son is estimated to be as high as 350mm. It will be 150 to 300mm in Dien Bien, Son La, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Quang Ninh and Haiphong. The rest of the northern region will have less than 200mm of total rainfall.
