Danang, which is seen as Vietnam’s most livable city, has seen more polluted rivers, affecting local lives.

Khue Trung Canal serves water drainage for residential areas in Cam Le and Hai Chau districts as well as Danang International Airport and this has recently become more polluted. 

Da Co Canal in Lien Chieu District is in the same situation with bad smell. Most of waste water poured into the canal is from slaughterhouses in Da Son, Khanh Son rubbish tip and surrounding residential areas.

The serious pollution of Phan Lang Canal in Thanh Khe District which runs along with Can Giuoc, Nguyen Dinh Tuan and An Xuan roads has affected nearby households. A drain at the canal is full of rubbish
