HCM City's sewer secrets revealed
Environment workers have shown shocking scenes from what they took from sewage pipes in HCM City.
On June 20, HCM City Urban Drainage Company Ltd. dredged sewage drains along Vo Van Tan Street in District 3.
Every month, the company dredges these sewage pipes, however, just several days after being cleaned, the pipes were full of rubbish.
Do Xuan Tu from the company said that people often dump plastic bags of rubbish near the pipes, and then they were swept into the system. Meanwhile, many people throw bottles into streets.
According to Tu, he usually sees things such as bottles, plastic bags and syringes in sewage pipes whenever dredging.
