Ancient calligraphy exhibition opens at Temple of Literature

Calligraphy is a type of special traditional art brought to Vietnam along with Chinese characters. With this art, scholars use quills to write Chinese characters under the form of Trien, Le, Hanh, Khai and Thao.

Experiencing a long history, calligraphy has gained the peak of art, showing philosophy and a sense of beauty about firmness and flexibility.

The exhibition will finish on October 14.
