Hang Dau flower garden gets facelift
The restoration of Hang Dau Flower Garden in Hanoi which is now known as Van Xuan Flower Garden has been mostly completed.
The project has been carried out since late 2023 with a total investment of VND14 billion (USD571,428).
Following the public concerns over concrete structures encroaching upon green spaces, Ba Dinh District authorities have decided to make adjustments.
The newly-installed musical fountain has become the highlight.
Minh Anh from Hoan Kiem District said that she is interested in the new face of the flower garden. It helps to ease Hanoi’s shortage of public space for people to relax. Many children are taken to Van Xuan Flower Garden to play.
A public bicycle rental service has been opened at the place to serve tourists. From there, they can easily cycle to explore the Old Quarter.
Dustbins are arranged around the flower garden.
According to local authorities, more trees will be grown at the flower garden in the coming time.
